Our Team
DR. MELANIE MURPHY
Medical Director
Dr. Melanie Murphy knew as a small child that being a “vegeternarian” was her life’s calling. She was born in Blue Island, Illinois, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois. She then went “over the pond” and earned her Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Liverpool in England in 2000.
In 2012, she married the love of her life, David and now lives with 2 English Mastiffs (Little Myl and GG), 2 Great Danes (Markus and Raven), 1 Bengal (Newey), and 2 Maine Coons (Macavity and Rum Tum Tugger). Little Myl and GG are often here at Noah’s Animal Hospital at Wheaton and love to meet our clients!!
When she’s not making new four legged friends here at the clinic, Dr. Murphy loves traveling, horse racing, Formula One racing, cooking and a wide variety of sports. Many times, she can be found curled up with her pets, catching up on the latest fiction and non-fiction best sellers.

TINA SPIERLING
Veterinary Technician
Tina has worked in the veterinary field since 1993. Her favorite tasks are assisting in surgery and performing dentals.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, making candles and spending time with her family - which includes her 3 sons (Shawn, Ian and Alex), and her 4 kitties - Merlin, Minnie, Shorty & Lu.
